Dr. David K. Camp

Dr. David K. Camp, founder of Camp Eye Care Clinic, graduated from high school in 1976 from Greater Atlanta Christian School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Harding University in 1980 where he was nominated to Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities. Optometric externships were completed at the Vision Education Foundation in Atlanta, GA and under Dr. Howard Flippin in Searcy, AR. Dr. Camp received his Doctorate from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 1984.


He has been practicing in Central Arkansas since 1985 and has completed his training as an Optometric Physician. He is a member of the Arkansas Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Camp provides a personalized, Christian approach to vision care services for his patients.

DeDe joined Camp Eye Care Clinic in 2009 as the optometric technician. DeDe serves as office supervisor at the Searcy location and also oversees and coordinates inventory at both offices.
